Privacy policy

Information about the processing of your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection (LOPDGDD).

2. Purposes and legal basis

We process the data you provide through the contact and information request forms for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiries, commercial information requests and catalogue requests (legal basis: consent and/or pre-contractual measures, GDPR art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b).
  • To maintain the commercial relationship and send you communications about ALGO VITAL products, services or news related to your request (legitimate interest, GDPR art. 6.1.f).
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations (GDPR art. 6.1.c).

3. Categories of data

Identification and contact data (name, company, email, phone) and any other information you voluntarily provide in your message. No special categories of data are processed.

4. Retention period

Data will be kept for the time required to process your request and, thereafter, for the legally established periods to address potential liabilities arising from the processing. If a commercial relationship is established, data will be kept while it is maintained and, after its termination, for the legal limitation periods.

5. Recipients and processors

No data will be transferred to third parties unless legally required. To provide the service we rely on providers acting as data processors under contractual obligations (GDPR art. 28), including:

  • Hosting and CDN provider (web infrastructure).
  • Transactional email provider to handle contact form submissions.
  • Database provider where received requests are stored.

6. International transfers

Some of the providers indicated may be located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers are made with the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses of the European Commission).

7. Data subject rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, portability and not to be subject to automated decisions, by writing to info@algovital.es, indicating “Data Protection” and attaching a copy of an identity document.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing does not comply with current regulations.

8. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, preventing alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access.
